Bonnie Scotland! 

            Here is your chance to see where it all started – Scotland, the golfer’s Mecca.  We will, of course, make the pilgrimage to St. Andrews and try out several other champion-ship quality golf courses, but we must remember that there are many, many other wonderful places to see and things to do that should not be missed.  We will all, golfer and non-golfer alike, experience the incomparable natural beauty of Scotland, the fascinating history and traditions of this ancient country, and the authentic and very special cuisine during this ten day vacation. 

This is our plan for your Scottish Holiday: 

 You will arrive at the Edinburgh Airport on Day 1 and spend the first night at the Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel and Golf Resort, about 4 miles away, where we will host a Welcome Cocktail and Dinner Party.  On the next day, after a round of golf at the Dalmahoy and a day of sightseeing for the non-golfers in Edinburgh, we will board our motor coach and travel to our home-away-from-home, The Royal George (a lovely Victorian hotel)  in the county town of Perth, about an hour's drive. Our Scottish guide will be with us to give us whatever information we would like about the country in general or Perth in particular.   The golfers will play again on Days 4, 6 and 8 on the nearby courses at Carnoustie, St. Andrews and Dunkeld & Birnam, while the non-golfers explore ancient castles, royal palaces, beautiful gardens, and quaint villages in the area. 

  On Days 3, 7 and 9, we will all tour the lovely Scottish countryside together, always with our private motor coach and our guide.  Day 5 includes a guided morning walking tour of Perth and the remainder of the day is free. On the last evening in Perth, we will host a Farewell Scottish Dinner at the hotel. 

 Day 10 is departure day, and we will accompany you to the Edinburgh Airport and help you get checked in for your flight home, or wherever else you may be going.  We hope to see you again soon on another Stowe Away Tour!
