   Your  2010 Scottish Itinerary at a Glance 

Begins on Friday, August 13th and ends on Sunday, August 22nd

Day 1: Arrival Edinburgh Airport. Transfer by complimentary shuttle to the Marriot Dalmahoy Hotel and Golf Resort near the airport.  Evening: Welcome Cocktail and Dinner at the hotel. 

Day 2: Golfers: Dalmahoy Championship Course, with lunch at the hotel.  Non-Golfers: Visit to Roslyn Chapel, followed by coach and guided walking tour of the historic center of Edinburgh, with lunch in a traditional restaurant, and time to enjoy shopping or strolling on the Royal Mile, before gathering the golfers, visiting the Falkirk Wheel, and arriving at our hotel in Perth.

Day 3: Group touring day: Stirling Castle, at the gatelway to the beautiful Trossachs in the central highlands, with a cruise on Loch Lomond, with lunch along the way. Evening free.

Day 4: Golfers: Carnoustie, with  lunch in the club house.  Non-golfers: morning coffee in Arbroath and a tour of the ruins of Arbroath Abbey, then lunch in the village of Glamis followed by a tour of Glamis Castle. Evening free.

Day 5: Morning: guided walking tour of Perth; lunch and afternoon free.  Evening free.

Day 6: Golfers: St. Andrews.  Non-golfers: visit to the quaint fishing village of Crail, followed by a guided tour of the historic town of St. Andrews, meeting the golfers for lunch at Rusack's Hotel, overlooking the Old Course and a visit to the Golf Museum. Evening free.

Day 7: Group touring day: Full day in Edinburgh, starting off with a guided visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, lunch in a traditional restaurant,  a walk up part of the Royal Mile to the Castle for a guided visit, independent dinner, and in the evening, the world-famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Day 8: Golfers: Dunkeld and Birnam with lunch in the clubhouse.  Non-golfers, Blair Castle tour with lunch in the village of Pitlochry  and if time allows, a visit to the Salmon Ladder.  The golfers will join us for a tour of Dewar's World of Whisky.  Evening free.

Day 9: Group Touring Day: guided tour of Scone Palace, a few miles from Perth, lunch in Perth, afternoon visit to Branklyn Gardens, walking distance from the hotel -. Evening free. and then a freeay . Evening: Farewell Scottish Dinner at the hotel. 

Day 10: Departure day. Transfer to the Airport with our guide to see you off.
