Our 2012 Itinerary at a Glance Begins on Monday, Aug. 13th and ends on Wednesday, Aug. 22nd
Day 1: Arrival at Munich Airport - Coach pick-up and brief tour of Munich, view the Glockenspiel and lunch at the Ratskeller. Proceed to Hotel Bachmair on the Tegern See in Rottach-Egern. Welcome Dinner at the hotel. Day 2: Cruise on the Tegernsee (Lake Tegern) - Lunch at Tegernsee Bräuhaus and afternoon cable care ride up the Wallberg Mountain. Evening free. Day 3: Chiemsee - Cruise on the lake to visit Herrenchimsee Castle, then to the Fraueninsel for a visit and lunch. Golfers play Chieming Golf Club. Evening free. Day 4: Oberammergau, Garmisch and Mittenwald - Tour of Oberammergau with visit to the Passion Play Theater's costumes, scenery, auditorium. Pass through Garmisch, site of the 1936 Olympic Games, in the shadow of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany. Lunch and the afternoon in the picturesque village of Mittenwald with visit to the Peter and Paul Church and the Violin Museum. Evening free. Day 5: Berchtesgaden - Cruise on the Königsee (King's Lake), lunch in the old town, afternoon visit to the Documentation Center and the Eagle's Nest. (Afternoon option: remain in the old town.) Evening free. Day 6:

Golfers play Margarethenhoff Golf Club. Evening Free. Day 7: Neuschwanstein, Wieskirche, Bad Tölz - Visit the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein, lunch at the Hotel Müller, tour the beautiful Wieskirche, and a stop at Bad Tölz to walk the quaint main street. Evening free. Day 8: Tour of Saltzburg - Guided walking tour of the old city with visits to Mozart's birthplace, the Cathedral and the lovely old streets of the city. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Golfers play the Tegernseer Golf Club near Rottach-Egern. Evening free. Day 9: Munich - Return for a closer look. Panoramic coach tour of the outlying area, then a guided walking tour of the old center city. Lunch at the world-famous Hofbräuhaus. Afternoon visit to the museum of the Royal Residence. Farewell Dinner at our hotel in Rottach-Egern. Day 10:
