PICTURE PORTUGAL! 

Join our group for a ten day fully-escorted golf and sightseeing vacation in sunny, beautiful Portugal, a wonderful land, filled with historical treasures, spectacular cities, and endless miles of sandy beaches all along its western coast. This is a fascinating country where age-old traditions and monuments melt together with modern technology and comfort.  Explore with us one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe, very rich in history, culture, architecture, and discover the unexpected pleasures of delicious cuisine and wines, all the while experiencing the joy of playing excellent and picturesque golf courses which have hosted national and European championships. 

Once we have picked you up at the Lisbon Airport, we will travel to the charming seaside village of Cascais, on Cascais Bay, just outside Lisbon, where we will become temporary residents.  The Hotel Baia, located right on the beach, has a lovely terrace and a rooftop swimming pool, and it will be our home for the full ten days – unpack once, and you are on your dream golf and sightseeing vacation!                                                              

Each day we will board our private luxury motor coach for a new adventure, exploring some fascinating corner of this remarkable area within a short drive from our village. We have chosen four excellent golf courses, varying from seaside to hillside, for the golfers in our group and they will surely enjoy all of them. The sightseeing venues are truly magnificent and we can hardly wait to show them to you! We have allowed free time here and there for you to move at your own pace, and you will find a variety of other activities, such as wine tasting, market day, and a festive evening of traditional food and music for your enjoyment. 

Our plan for your holiday: 

Every-other-day of our visit, Larry will escort the golfing group to play four distinctly different championship courses in the region surrounding Cascais.  On those days, the non-golfers will go exploring with Carolyn to discover interesting corners of the area.  We will have our motor coach and our English-speaking guide to show us some of the treasures in this region of Portugal.  On the non-golfing days, all of us will experience the sights and flavors of Portugal together, again with our motor coach and guide.  Most evenings are free so you can get to know your new hometown and sample the many and varied restaurants in your Cascais neighborhood.
